Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
3+ years of professional level experience in college/university admissions or similar environment. Must include experience with student life, events planning and management, team leading, and/or staff training/development.
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of professional level experience in college/university admissions or similar environment. Demonstrated experience in student advising and event management. Experience with HTML and social media tools is preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Outstanding communication, interpersonal, writing, and public speaking skills. Counseling/mentoring skills. Ability to represent the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Enrollment Management, and NYU successfully and independently, and to provide leadership within a team setting. Student meetings in this role may take place during work evenings and weekends. Schedule flexibility is required.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Experience with virtual engagement technologies and special events. Ability to orchestrate high level university events.
