The Director of Development, Tandon will develop and execute successful fundraising strategies for a portfolio of high networth prospects who have the capacity to make $3M - $5M gifts. Responsible for raising 6-7 figures annually and maintain a balanced portfolio dedicated to qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Maintain a discovery prospect pool with an emphasis on qualification that leads to a portfolio of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Complete a minimum of 100 engagements and/or meetings in-person or virtually.

The Director of Alumni Relations designs and implements a comprehensive, strategic, and inclusive engagement plan for the alumni of the NYU Silver School of Social Work, both nationally and internationally. As a key member of the University’s Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) and NYU Silver leadership teams, the Director advances both national and international alumni programs with the following goals: (i) increasing alumni engagement, (ii) advancing the school’s development targets, (iii) developing mentoring, practicum and other supports for current students, and (iv) providing tangible benefits to alumni. Partner with NYU Silver’s Dean, Executive Team, senior administrators, faculty and staff to create, lead, and participate in collaborative activities and events with colleagues in Development, Student Affairs, Enrollment Services, Practicum Education and Community Partnerships, and Communications. Partner with other NYU schools to create and maintain pathways for alumni participation that advance the overall goals of NYU Silver and the University at large. Collaborate with both UDAR and NYU Silver leadership, as well as alumni volunteers, to maximize the services sought from and provided to alumni.

The Senior Research Software Engineer provides software and systems engineering support to NYU researchers. This position is key to leveraging the university investments in research computing infrastructure and services including a state-of-the-art HPC cluster, a Big Data analytics cluster, a cluster dedicated to Artificial Intelligence projects, an investment to research cloud for bursting HPC jobs, and a dedicated High-Speed Research Network. This position is involved in scoping, architecting, designing, building, and supporting research infrastructure and research computing projects, in alignment with AI, Research Cloud, and HPC needs. The Senior Research Software Engineer works closely with NYU researchers to assist in collecting their computational requirements and implementing appropriate software solutions. In addition, the position provides targeted consulting to faculty and research teams aimed at improving the competitiveness of extramural funding proposals. This role works closely with NYU IT teams to provide the input needed to align the operation and configuration of the research infrastructure investments with the needs of researchers and instructors at the university.

The Assistant Director will advise students, manage student advisement programs for new and continuing MBA students and specific accountability for the successful operations of the MBA Academic Affairs & Advising Office. Under the direction of the Associate Director, Data & Assessment, support and execute data and assessment needs of the Wasserman Center for Career Development. Design surveys and other data collection vehicles. Develop intelligence reports, presentations, and publications based on the data analysis conducted and provide creativity in dashboard design, problem solving, and analysis. Ensure deadlines for projects met within established time frames and maintain the center’s data reporting platforms. Liaise with stakeholders including faculty, university administrators and employers across NYU's global sites.
Manage day-to-day activity of assigned clinics, ensuring patient records are completed, encounter forms are tracked for billing, and fees are collected; develop new office guidelines and procedures; ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner; collaborate with dental students and faculty to resolve patient problems; authorize special payment arrangements and approve discounts; supervise staff, and administer budgets.
Lead the provision of instruction and outreach services within the Library, including especially those associated with classes, undergraduate programs, and student organizations. Perform triage to route reference queries to the appropriate specialist and answer general questions, especially questions related to real estate, marketing, and other SPS majors. Staff the desk in concert with other reference providers. Work to support collections access program as needed. Participate in various special projects and initiatives as assigned.
Answer mental health hotline, managing high risk situations, utilizing crisis intervention skills, and providing referrals for concrete resources. Conduct remote clinical assessments with students to evaluate seriousness of presenting problems, providing in the moment support and developing appropriate treatment plans.
Consult with faculty and school administrators and respond to special needs of diverse global student population.
Hours: up to 14 hours weekly (hours of operation Monday - Friday 9am- 7pm, Saturdays 9am-5pm)
Provide Systems Administration and technical support in the designs, development, installation and maintenance of Steinhardt Systems and services including hardware and software for all for all servers and desktop workstations. Provide Tier 3 support to Steinhardt technical support team and community. Basic network troubleshooting. Collaborate and coordinate on various projects with internal groups and departments, including NYU Central IT.
Provide strategic and operational oversight for the NYU Dentistry Translational Research Center and NYU Oral Cancer Center.
