The Manager of Faculty Affairs will provide high-level administrative support, manage the day-to-day activities of the Office for Faculty Affairs of NYU's School of Global Public Health, and supervise the Office Coordinator. Monitors and manages the timely processing of faculty appointments, promotions, and tenure and the process of faculty recruitment, including the distribution of information and invitations to prospective candidates. Facilitates planning and execution of faculty development programs including workshops and networking events. Prepares annual budget and interim reports; authorizes and approves expenditures for the office. Communicates regularly with leadership in the New York University Office of Faculty Development, Office of Global Inclusion, and other relevant partners. Coordinates with the School’s Office of Communications to promote faculty development events. Exercises independent judgment in prioritizing activities and proposes solutions. Assists in evaluating faculty affairs and development programs and policies. Provides oversight for all ongoing projects supporting the Vice Dean's agenda to ensure that all are effectively moving according to plan objectives and established milestones and measurement criteria.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Bachelor's Degree Concentration or course work in public health, business or public administration, higher education, or related field.
Required Experience:
5+ years or equivalent of skills and experience administering global or academic programs.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working with faculty and students in a higher education institution.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with Google Forms, Qualtrics, and Tableau Ability to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $61,000.00 to USD $111,000.00.
