NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director of Experiential Education. The Associate Director will strategically develop, implement, and evaluate experiential learning initiatives across Stern with a particular focus on the Undergraduate student population including student-driven projects with SMEs, financial institutions, and blue-chip companies. The selected candidate will support Stern's Undergraduate BS in Business Capstone course with particular emphasis on student learning and building external business relationships. The Associate Director will partner with Stern's broader Experiential Education focus on industry-based outreach and work with faculty to ensure client projects apply to classroom content and also partner with the Assistant Dean and Director to implement a series of initiatives relating to the School's goal of having deep connections with industry worldwide that yield a transformational educational experience for our students.
The selected candidate must have a bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant professional level experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include experience in an educational service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects, working with external parties, and satisfying multiple high level constituencies. Excellent strategic and operational planning, networking, relationship management, and verbal and written
communication skills are required. The ability to build external relationships and market programs, the ability to work effectively with faculty, students, administrators, and corporate and community leaders, and knowledge of standard office software are also required.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500 - $95,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
