Position Summary

Under the direction of the Managing Director, and in collaboration with the MakerSpace Manager and Design Lab Manager, this position is responsible for the daily operations of the MakerSpace Lab and Experiential Learning Center. Manage and supervise the MakerSpace machine and training reservation system, the NYU Prototyping Fund logistics, and create new experiential learning programs. Oversee student hiring process and onboarding. Develop and implement operational policies and best practices for student professional development funding and new portfolio and badging systems.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Education, or related discipline

Required Experience:
2+ years years working in an academic or business setting, supervision, monitoring budgets or combination of education and experience

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team member, think creatively, and evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures. Must have strong and polished interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $90,000.00.
