This position will manage key administrative operations for the various department, including budgeting, and will be responsible for developing internal procurement procedures, tracking all contracts, and providing recommendations to the Manager of Financial Operations, as well as other administrative units. Serves as the sole procurement officer responsible for the direction, coordination, and compliance of all procurement activities for hardware and software at NYU Steinhardt. Work with department admins, research centers, and administrative groups to plan the purchasing of hardware and software for faculty, staff, and researchers. Manage an ongoing analysis of the I.T. ticketing system, budget, and other University Data. Create reports and make recommendations based on findings that can be shared with the Manager of Financial Operations, Chief Information Officer, and Steinhardt Leadership.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Required Experience:
1+ years experience managing operations and unit members within a department; managing budgets and expenditures; and serving as administrative liaison with other organizational offices at all levels of a complex institution. Supervision experience.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in a university setting preferred.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of MS Word and Excel. Excellent organizational skills.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $105,000.00.
