Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Required Experience:
3+ years related experience (accounting, financial reporting, analysis, budget, administration, project management or operations support)
Preferred Experience:
Proficient in social media.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to interface effectively with various disciplines and units across the NYU campus. Effective communication using different modalities, including verbal, report, email, and social media. Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate policies effectively; proficiency with spreadsheets, budgeting, database and financial software applications. Ability to effectively problem-solve, analyze information and data, think critically and use good judgment essential. Should be able to work in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of information. Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment. Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. Ability to multitask and adjust priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Outstanding oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with the NYU environment. Familiarity with NYU's financial systems such as UDW, FAME, AP Workflow or other software, familiar with social media as a business platform.
