Position Summary

Administer processes for vendor evaluation and selection and bidding service agreements; establish criteria for performance, review bids and benchmark against other vendors. Establish dollar values within budget parameters and modify blanket purchase orders for Facilities & Construction Management. Research and manage requests for qualifications and proposals made by unit heads. Prepare contract specifications including defining scope of services for review, approval, and execution by others.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent 

Preferred Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, other business-related field, or Engineering

Required Experience:
3 years' relevant experience in fields relating to facilities management, accounting, or contracting services or equivalent combination. Must include procurement experience, managing purchase and blanket order requests, monitoring service delivery and quality, contractor compliance reviews, vendor relations experience, and budget monitoring.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Ability to analyze data and draw relevant and appropriate conclusions. Consistency in application of university and department policies and practices. Proficiency with Excel.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Understanding of procurement and contracting processes. Ability to manipulate databases. Knowledge of NYU systems and processes, such as FAME and the purchasing processes.

Additional Information

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $58,500.00 to USD $105,895.19.
