The Senior Director of Business Development will work closely with the Assistant Dean and the Partnership, Marketing & Enrollment teams. Oversee all business development activities to support the degree and non-degree programs within this department. This will include developing a business development strategy and marketing plan to identify, acquire and convert new industry partners as well as oversee the partnerships team. Execute strategies identified for high-value relationships with designated companies, including officers, managers, and staff who influence and/or enter into agreements with educational partners to provide their personnel with online graduate education and executive/professional education, including C-level executives, HR and Training & Development managers, and other key personnel. This position will play a key role in building, scaling, and managing key relationships that will drive enrollment, revenue, and scholarship for Tandon Online. Track, analyze and report on partner prospecting and enrollment and revenue results and help benchmark data to advise on best practices.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or related area
Required Experience:
7+ years experience in online/adult learning, graduate education, university research, corporate L&D, business development, sales, marketing, human resources, corporate relations, career development, admissions or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Candidates must possess a proven ability to cultivate strong industry partnerships. Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are also required. Experience in a corporate environment or administrative role in higher education is preferred. The ability to understand fundamental concepts of several technical/computational fields of study. Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, LinkedIn, data analysis and social media skills necessary.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $115,000 - $165,000.
