Oversee, plan and coordinate all aspects of the NYU Game Center’s annual game incubator program, including providing production guidance and mentorship to current incubator teams, maintaining relationships with incubator alumni, and raising the public profile of incubator projects. Recruit and coordinate industry advisors to the incubator, including advisory board members and executive producers. In coordination with the Industry Liaison, manage programming for the Center of Excellence in Digital Game Development (CoE) and oversee the department’s industry-facing relationships and communications. Raise awareness of the Game Center and the creative work of Game Center students and faculty through event & conference coordination, social media and mass communication tools. Build partnerships within the games industry, game-adjacent fields, and other stakeholders; represent the Game Center at industry events. Plan and execute programs for students and incubator participants that foster a sense of community within the Game Center.

3+ years progressively responsible experience in academic or office administration. Must include experience working in and guiding creative teams. Must have a working knowledge of the games industry and stay up to date with industry work practices.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with distinguished visitors, faculty, and students. Proven ability to direct and implement a variety of operations and activities, to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem solving. Knowledge of standard office software, web publishing, and social media. Extensive knowledge of games and game industry.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $95,000.
