Manage the Tisch Creative Research (TCR) departmental daily operations including administration of departmental budget and control of expenses. Provide grants management for outgoing and incoming awards. Serve as design and web manager for the department. Provide administrative and operational support with accomplishing academic, artistic and programmatic goals. Manage special event logistics. Supervise student workers and vendors.

Required Experience:
2+ years in academic administration or a related area. Must include experience assisting a senior executive, managing office operations, budgets, and people.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years academic and/or arts environments
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact with distinguished visitors, faculty, and students. Proven ability to direct and implement a variety of operations and activities, to communicate policies and procedures to individuals at all levels and use problem solving and negotiating skills. Knowledge of standard office and media software.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Familiarity with local, regional, national, international arts community and organizations and resources. Has worked with or impacted IDBEA efforts or strategies. Experience in creating website or building branding profiles.
In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $95,000.
