NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Director, NYU Stern Berkley Achievement Scholarship in the Office for Diversity and Inclusion. The Assistant Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the NYU Stern Berkley Achievement Scholarship Program. Assist the Program Director to develop and execute the program. Coordinate with stakeholders to track student engagement and performance. Provide personalized coaching to program participants. Design and deliver experiential learning experiences. Manage program budget. Evaluate program regularly. Design strategy to engage expected program alumni. Continuously develop, under direction of the Program Director, a four-year model for supporting program participants throughout their college career.
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (a Master's Degree in public administration, business, higher education, leadership, or a relevant social science is preferred) and 3+ years experience working in a university, educational institution, or youth development program or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must include considerable experience in program development and coordination. The selected candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational and research capabilities; ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment; ability to set goals and implement strategies for achieving them; ability to work with diverse stakeholders; and commitment to advancing college access and success. Knowledge in career readiness, leadership development; equity, diversity, inclusion; academic coaching; communications and marketing is preferred.
