The NYU Wagner Office of Career Services (OCS) is seeking an exceptionally organized and highly-motivated, full-time Operations Administrator to join our team. This individual will report to the Director of Career Services and will provide administrative and database systems support to the OCS team of three full-time staff. The Operations Administrator will also provide timely and excellent customer service to relevant stakeholders, including staff, students, alumni, faculty, employers, and vendors.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree
Required Experience:
2-3 years working in an administrative and operations support role.
Preferred Experience:
3-4 years working in an administrative and operations support role. Interest in public service and higher education.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Excel), Google Suite, database administration, such as Salesforce or Symplicity. Experience supporting the planning and facilitation of both virtual and in-person events. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact in a professional manner with students, faculty, staff and external stakeholders. Must demonstrate the ability to work as a team member; to think creatively; and to evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures.
Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Proficiency in NYU systems including UDW+, AP Workflow, iBuy, and Albert SIS. Experience with Zoom, presentation programming, EventBrite, Mailchimp, and SurveyMonkey. Expertise with Excel.
