This live-in required position oversee operations and activities for the assigned residence halls (approximately 4,000 residents); develop, plan and implement a variety of resident programs and services, including year-long occupancy programs. Review inquiries and issues presented by residents, parents and other members of the University community; investigate and resolve problems and complaints. Oversee emergency and crisis intervention systems, collaborating with Student Health Center, Facilities & Construction Management, Housekeeping and Public Safety; provide student counseling; serve as a liaison between Student Health Center to refer students. Assist with development and implementation of policies and procedures that are in compliance with University and regulatory agencies' guidelines. Resolve building service problems and implement building maintenance and refurbishment porgrams. Maintain open and positive relationships with building management companies, building supervisers and landowners for Leased Properties. This position is responsible for assigned after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties on a rotational basis.
Master's degree, or equivalent, in Higher Education or related field
5 years' relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience with student counseling, program development and implementation, budget administration and staff supervision.
Experience in a large urban university housing/student services environment
