Position Summary

NYU’s Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity available for an Associate Director, MBA Student Activities.  The Associate Director will evaluate the current services model with the objective of better aligning activities with the School's goal of transforming the MBA mindset towards one that is focused on broad issues and transformational leadership.  They will help direct operations for MBA Student Activities for a diverse student population.  The Associate Director will also establish departmental goals, including short and long term strategic objectives, and partner with the Assistant Dean to implement a series of events relating to student orientations for all MBA programs and manage all club programming and student leadership.  


Candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s Degree preferred) and 4 years’ relevant experience developing and managing implementation of student services diversity and leadership programming services to a diverse student body at the college or university level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Demonstrated event planning and implementation experience is required. Candidates must have outstanding strategic planning, project management, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills. They must also have the ability to execute multiple initiatives simultaneously, promote teamwork, and serve as an ambassador for the School and department.
