New York University, Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Director, Experiential Learning in the Office of Student Engagement. The Associate Director will strategically develop, implement, and evaluate experiential learning courses and initiatives across Full-time and Part-time MBA Programs. The Associate Director will collaborate with the Director to innovate and direct content for all MBA experiential learning programs and a variety of other student related offerings. The Associate Director will support experiential courses with particular emphasis on student learning and identifying and cultivating external business relationships and internal partnerships (including faculty, academic departments, and other administrative offices). They will develop and deliver workshops for students, track key metrics and present recommendations for new experiential programs and improvements to existing ones. The Associate Director will also partner with the Director and Assistant Dean to implement a series of programs relating to the School's goal of transforming the MBA mindset towards one that is focused on broad issues and transformational leadership.
The selected candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (MBA or master’s degree preferred) and 5 years relevant professional level experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience in an educational service business that requires managing multiple tasks/projects, working with external parties, and satisfying multiple high-level constituencies. A proven ability to cultivate relationships, launch new educational initiatives, along with excellent project management, networking, and verbal and written communication skills are required.
