Position Summary

The Associate Director of Partnerships will work closely with the Director of Partnerships, the Assistant Dean, and the Tandon Online Marketing team to grow corporate and industry relationships in support of NYU Tandon’s degree and non-degree online programs. The Associate Director of Partnerships will manage various business development activities, including cultivating new relationships and managing existing industry partnerships as well as leading partner engagement initiatives and activities. The Associate Director of Partnership will collaboratively execute strategies for high-value relationships with identified organizations as well as identify new partners. Track, analyze, and report on partner prospecting and results and help benchmark data to advise internal and external stakeholders on best practices to support growth.

Qualifications

Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related area

Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in marketing or human resources related function preferred.

Required Experience:
5+ years relevant work experience in business development, account management, sales, marketing, human resources, corporate relations, career development, or admissions.

Preferred Experience:
7+ years Background in or understanding of online learning, graduate education, or corporate training is desirable.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
The ability to understand fundamental concepts of several technical/computational fields of study. Candidates must possess a proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships. Exceptional presentation, written and oral communication, and interpersonal and organizational skills.  Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, Salesforce, social media skills, and some experience working with business intelligence tools.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Understanding financial services, information technology, cybersecurity, software development, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, and medical research is a plus.
