The Director, Offshore Wind Program leads the strategic planning, business development, and programmatic partnerships at the Urban Future Lab for the multi-year, multimillion dollar Offshore Wind Program. Responsible for identifying and launching new programs and initiatives within Offshore Wind, managing the innovation portfolio for the Offshore Wind Program, and leading the team’s business development activities. Position will also have direct oversight of the $2.3 million Offshore Wind Program budget. Supervises staff at the Urban Future Lab. This is a 2 year fixed term position.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in a related area
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree engineering or sustainability or related field
Required Experience:
7+ years experience with project/program management, climate/offshore wind, venture capital, fundraising, curriculum development, or work experience at a startup, government agency, or energy/utility/industrial company. Experience cultivating industry relationships, meeting client needs, liaising with stakeholders, delivering projects on time, and developing and managing a curriculum and supervision.
Preferred Experience:
7+ years experience related to federal or state offshore wind policies or offshore wind project development will be seen as a plus. Experience evaluating applications to an incubator or accelerator program, or any experience teaching, coaching, or as a speaker at a conference or panel discussion will also be highly valued. Experience or interest in playing a leadership role is also a plus.

Demonstrate broad systems-level thinking as well as be capable of in-depth analytical thinking. Flexible in assuming other duties as needed
