The School of Professional Studies is seeking an Assistant Director, Programs to oversee and develop continuing education programs within the Center for Publishing & Applied Liberal Arts (PALA) division. Duties include curriculum and course development, planning of course offerings, student advisement and conferral tracking, adjunct faculty hiring, evaluation, and promotion, primarily in, but not exclusive to, the subject areas of writing and communications and for the Academy of Lifelong Learning. Market programs primarily through social media platforms to professional associations and prospective students, and monitor reach and engagement. Create, organize, and manage department events related to course offerings and certificates. Establish industry/professional relationships beneficial to the department. Participate in strategic planning initiatives.

Responsibilities will also include assessing suicidal concerns and when appropriate, arranging for hospitalization, assessing severity of presenting problems, formulating treatment plans, and providing appropriate psychotherapeutic interventions which may include referral for long-term treatment. Responsibilities will be performed both in-person and remotely as indicated.

The School of Professional Studies is seeking an Admissions Officer to, under very general supervision, represent and market NYU to potential students at on-campus and off-campus recruitment events; cultivate relationships with students to encourage a positive response and interest in attending NYU and promote NYU and its schools and programs. Assist with the achievement of University, geographic, and department enrollment targets by encouraging qualified students to apply to NYU. Review and evaluate students' admission applications. Approve or deny applications and recommend borderline applicants to academic departments and Admission Committee for further consideration. Advise students on the application process, University and School programs, academic requirements, financial aid options, housing, and other student services.
Manage day-to-day administrative functions of program(s) for the Division of Applied Undergraduate Studies (DAUS) within the School of Professional Studies (SPS). Meet departmental needs including assisting with the development of office policies and procedures. Oversee adjunct faculty appointment and payment. Specifically, address questions around NYUSPS policies and procedures, course scheduling, course preparation, etc. Analyze faculty and course data, produce detailed faculty and course reports, and provide recommendations for course and faculty needs. Collect, analyze, and make recommendations based on student feedback data in order to determine student satisfaction. Advise students on issues such as curriculum requirements, course selection, registration, and career exploration. Plan and implement special student programs including prospective student outreach events and new student orientations. Attend School and University sponsored marketing events, information sessions and/or seminars to promote programs. Supervise student employees, make effective recommendations for hiring.
Manage day-to-day activity of assigned clinics, ensuring patient records are completed, encounter forms are tracked for billing, and fees are collected; develop new office guidelines and procedures; ensure patient care is delivered in a timely and appropriate manner; collaborate with dental students and faculty to resolve patient problems; authorize special payment arrangements and approve discounts; supervise staff, and administer budgets.

Provide high quality patient care and education to a diverse University community in accordance with established standards and medical ethics, policies and procedures of the Student Health Center. Oversee adherence to patients' rights and responsibilities.
Oversee strategic planning and interface with senior administration and Deans regarding purchasing, storage, assembly, distribution, decontamination, cleaning, sterilization and distribution of medical, dental, surgical and related instrumentation and equipment utilized. Oversee operations for clinical instrument sterilization and distribution system. Lead all of the clinical purchasing activities for the College. Develop and oversee budgets required to support both operations and inventory.
University Development and Alumni Relations (UDAR) is dedicated to soliciting the private funding necessary to support the strategic goals of the University in teaching, learning, and research. The personnel of UDAR work university-wide as well as within individual schools and colleges of the University to discover, motivate, cultivate, solicit, and steward alumni, parents, faculty, and friends for immediate, long-range, and future financial support, through gifts and pledges to the University, for critical operations such as student aid, faculty support, academic and research program development, and facilities and infrastructure. UDAR's endeavors raise funds for immediate University use and also for the University's endowment.
The Director of Development, Tandon will develop and execute successful fundraising strategies for a portfolio of high networth prospects who have the capacity to make $3M - $5M gifts. Responsible for raising 6-7 figures annually and maintain a balanced portfolio dedicated to qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Maintain a discovery prospect pool with an emphasis on qualification that leads to a portfolio of cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship. Complete a minimum of 100 engagements and/or meetings in-person or virtually.
